Tea Ceremony

in Topanga Canyon

the art of tea

Tea has been used for thousands of years as a practice of stillness. A way of slowing down until the body begins to remember what it feels like to simply be present.
Come meet yourself and others in silence, with a little smile on your face.

A woman with long brown hair, sitting cross-legged on a stone pathway in a garden, holding a small bowl with eyes closed and a peaceful expression, surrounded by various flowering plants and rocks.

The tea ceremony is a full sensory experience — the warmth of the bowl, the smell of the leaves, the silence between sips. Each cup is an invitation to land more fully in your body and let the nervous system settle.

No doing. Just presence, held by the land, the tea, and the space we create together.

A space to slow down

All ceremonies are held at my home in Topanga Canyon, surrounded by oaks, eucalyptus and the tempo the canyon offers. Your nervous system will shift before your first bowl.

The gift of tea

A dark brown teapot, a white teacup with blue design, a small wooden tray with dark tea leaves, and part of an open magazine on a table with a textured mat and a wooden surface.

A private tea ceremony makes a beautiful and deeply personal gift. For a friend going through a transition. For a mother who never slows down. For a small group of women who deserve an afternoon of nourishment.

Whether it is just for you, for a small group, or you want to join the monthly community gathering, I would love to share this practice with you.
